HCSS Foundation was awarded $2,000 from the Avondale City Council FY 2024 Contributions Assistance Program. HCSS secured funds to establish and enhance support to partner schools in Avondale. Last year, HCSS Foundation partnered with 4 schools, contributing $1,828.00 to support school projects or provided needed resources. This was in addition to the 5,000 plus school supplies contributed to 14 schools and 2 district resource programs.
This year, HCSS Foundation is working to establish partnerships with 18 schools. Currently partnerships have been established with 12 schools, contributing a projected $4,211 by the end of the 2023-24 school year. This is in addition to the 7,450 school supplies contributed to 22 schools and 3 district resource programs.
