We know school attendance is critical for academic success. There are many reasons students miss school. Besides the obvious reasons of illness and medical appointments, some students miss school because they don’t have clean clothes to wear or lack personal hygiene items.
To assist our schools and scholars, we are conducting our 2nd Annual Hygiene Drive to help supply personal hygiene products to students. Items needed include: body wash, shampoo, conditioner, razors, shaving cream, tooth paste, tooth brush, feminine hygiene products, underwear for males and females, socks, lotion, deodorant, chap stick, combs, brushes, hair ties, hair spray, twin sheets, twin blankets, hand soap and hand sanitizer.
We are accepting donations the month of October. Items can be dropped off at 2950 N Litchfield Road Monday – Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. You can also call Cathy or Julie and we will pick up your donations. Cash donations will be used to purchase hygiene products. For more information contact Cathy at (623) 476-6300 or Julie at (608) 852-5766.
With your help, we can get these important personal hygiene items to West Valley students!
