The HCSS Foundation has been honored to receive a total of five grants from four different agencies in the Valley. Among these, the Avondale City Council FY 2025 Contributions Assistance Program granted $2,000 to support our initiatives. Additionally, the Goodyear PebbleCreek Rotary Club generously awarded us a $2,000 grant. The Valley of the Sun United Way recognized our efforts with a $2,000 Grassroots Grant. Furthermore, local Walmart branches in Goodyear and Prescott contributed $1,000 each to our cause.
These vital funds will be utilized to bolster a variety of projects within the 23 West Valley schools we collaborate with throughout the year. Each school partnership is tailored to address specific needs and goals, ensuring a custom approach to support the educational community. In the upcoming school year, our focus will be on attendance and literacy goals as part of our school partnership initiatives.
It’s through the generosity of these grants and ongoing donations that we are able to empower schools to achieve their objectives and foster exceptional outcomes for their students.
