Reading is the fundamental cornerstone of educational success. And a lifelong skill. Research shows that when students have books at home to read, they are more likely to be successful at school.
This school year, HCSS Foundation partnered with 4 schools and provided vouchers for 136 students to purchase a book of their choosing at their school book fair. It was amazing to see the bright smiles on students’ faces as they purchased their own book, some for the very first time!
